Echelon Global is looking for an experienced and successful VoIP Wholesale Account Representative to join our growing VOIP Wholesale, IT Consulting and Managed IT Services team.


Responsibilities:

  • The VoIP Account Representative will be responsible for key account management of Echelon Global’s VoIP wholesale customers and suppliers across the globe.
  • Will be responsible for consistently reaching or surpassing the monthly/quarterly quota for net revenue for VoIP traffic.
  • Sales of carrier destinations in different geographies by introducing new customers to the company.
  • Candidates will receive an assigned territory with an existing client base.
  • Responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation governing the KYC and interconnect procedures and customer qualification of designated accounts with supporting documents.
  • Willing to travel and attend international VoIP wholesale carrier’s community exhibitions and conferences for business development, networking and company representation.
  • Collaborate with back-office support team (NOC) members to follow up trouble tickets, and escalation to higher management.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • The candidate should be able to demonstrate recent success 1+ years of outside B2B sales experience of VoIP wholesale.
  • Carry a Sales Hunter Mentality, uncovering and converting new prospects.
  • Manage existing and growing customer base, by leveraging internal/external technical resources.
  • Experienced Business Development and Lead Generation - comfortable generating leads through cold calling, networking and other generally accepted techniques.
  • Proven track record of excellent lead generation, presentation, closing and relationship skills.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communications
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Assets:

  • Current or recent successful VoIP sales
  • Product knowledge of VoIP, Office Equipment, Managed IT Services and Security
  • Technical skills related to Network, Voice, and Data Infrastructure Services
  • Experience with CRMs
  • IT Sales certifications are preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License

Must be authorized to work in Canada
